JOHANNESBURG – Murder accused Nomia Ndlovu argued there must be a mistake when asked why she would have listed a relative as a spouse in an insurance policy she had requested.
Tembisa’s former gendarme has been in custody since 2018 when she was arrested during an undercover operation after being involved in a plot to kill her relatives in order to claim the insurance money.
It is alleged that Ndlovu cashed in nearly 1.5 million rand following the deaths of six family members and her boyfriend.

Ndlovu admitted that she applied for insurance coverage for Madala Homu of which she is listed as beneficiary.
She also admitted that she was related to Homu but that there was a problem.
Instead, she blamed the insurance company: “I think they made a mistake. I included him in the policy and registered him as a brother and not as a spouse.
Thursday’s debates were halted after Ndlovu said she was not feeling well. She will take the helm on Friday.
